8 good deeds you can help your kids to do in Ramadan

7 good deeds parents can help their kids to do in Ramadan:

1 – Fasting:

You can help your kids to fast starting from 5 years old, not the whole day of course, but starting from 2 hours for 3 days then 3 hours for another 3 days, you can increase an hour after each 3 days, step by step they will realize the meaning of fasting and used to do it.

You can do a comptetion between them, or give them a Star ⭐ sticker for every day they fast.

The one who can get more stars will be the winner 🏆, and it will be a reward for him, if he is one kid you can reward him if he gets certain number of stars ⭐.

Don’t forget to tell them about the viruses of the fasting.

2 – The prayer:

You can do the same (comptetion of Stars 🌟) to encourage them to start praying with you, after the Salah you can tell them an interesting story from the Seerah, and reward the one who can answer your questions after finishing the story.

Don’t forget to tell them about the viruses of the prayers.

3 – Learning and Memorizing the Qura’n:

The same comptetion will be for memorzing certain Ayas daily, may be one Aya only, this depends on their ages and capability.

One of the effective ways to help your kids to learn and memorize Qura’n better to get him a perfect and qualified teacher.

4 – Helping in the house work:

You should tell them that any deed is done for the sake of Allah, they will be rewarded for it.

5 – Family kinship:

call and contact with their relatives for the sake of Allah, tell them about the rewards of family kinship.

6 – Having Suhoor:

To follow the Sunnah and also to pray the Fajr prayer at its right time.

Let them know that having the Sohoor has a lot of blessings as our beloved prophet (PBUH) told us, and that whoever follows the Sunnah will be rewarded by Allah, and get closer to it.

7 – The sincerity :

In a simple and suitable way to their age try to explain them how to put an intention for every action they do to be rewarded for doing it, and that  this intention should be for the sake and pleasure of Allah only.

This matter needs a lot of practicing and patience from the parents with their kids till they can do it.

May Allah accept from us all our good deeds, and grant us the sincerity in every action or saying.

8 – The charity:

Tell them about the rewards of charity, and give them small amount of money to pay for the poor.
